After extensively listening to NPR this year, I was moved by their stories and essays read on air. They were so moving because the characters were so real because the authors lived them, just under a pen name. This made me look back at my life and see what stories I could tell - and I have many. After I graduated high school, I made a promise to myself that I am going to travel, and that promise has lived on for four years now. Over the course of four years I've traveled to San Diego, Key West, Loreto, Mexico, Las Vegas, and The Philippines. Upon those experiences, I've learned an extensive amount of myself, that which I could've never done if I was homebound. I was able to clear my mind and be inspired to write. So here is my story.
