Freaky Frugalite(view profile)
http://freakyfrugalite.com
This is my "mixed bag" blog about family life, homeschooling, trends, culture, shopping, news, and, well, everything! It's run by me, a mom, but men and women readers make up my readership.
Here I discuss weighty cultural issues such as the vast moral wasteland that is television, politics and current events, teaching reading to young children, cool new inventions and appliances, and funny and freaky events around the world. This is a high-traffic blog with a reader base of educated, middle-class, and extremely literate people.

New York Renovator(view profile)

"Use it up, wear it out. Make it do, or do without." That's an old Yankee proverb which epitomizes old Yankee thrift and resourcefulness. It's my own motto for my blog! We bought an 1855 house in Upstate NY, and rather than take the bulldozer to it, we decided to *try* to restore it to its once-graceful state. This is our story. It's a family affair of love and hate, bliss and frustration, as we tackle all the projects ourselves. In the blog, I journalize our projects, hghlighting tips and tools that help. I also touch on home-related topics, such as small business, economics, building trends, design, and new tools.
P.S. We have a 1.5 acre of overgrown lawn and woods to tame, also!

This is a journal of our life and travels across Upstate New York. It's a melting pot of stories and photos, as rich and diverse as New York itself. I cover everything from politics (our national sport) to farming to travel gear. It's backyard tourism and living at its best!

Mrs. Mecomber's Scrapbook(view profile)
http://mrsmecombersscrapbook.com/
The Internet is filled with technology blogs, and the last thing needed is another one. However, what IS needed is a technology blog for the AVERAGE computer user. My blog fills this need.
Mrs. Mecomber's Scrapbook is easy to read and appeals to the "mommy" blogger or casual computer user. My blog informs readers of great bargains, software, computer and tech news, and offers tips and tweaks for computer users and bloggers. Average computer users have a life (!), and want the computer to enhance that life, not swallow it up whole.
I present the world of technology in a different light-- in plain spoken words. I highlight new trends, review products, offer opinion on current tech news, give simple tutorials, and more.
My readership is mainly women, many of whom run small, independent businesses. They are budget-minded, practical, and extremely literate.
