I am a retired school teacher that lives in South Carolina. Now, I am retired, not dead. The 3rd and 6th graders kept me young at heart. Also, having a lovely 20 year old daughter, who is still finding herself, keeps me hopping!

My husband has been around so long, I think I'll keep him. Corny, but he is a great guy and a gentleman.

I also mother a dog, Princess, and a fat cat, Daisy. Princess was "raised" from the age of 4 weeks by my best friend, Pugsie. He taught her the ropes for about 2 years. Daisy now rules Princess. More later because they are both a hoot.

I have always loved journaling with the kids and on my own. Now, that I have the time, I enjoy blogging. It's my way of getting my mind and heart out of the classroom, I guess. Well, that's not necessarily so, because my heart will always be with my kids!
