My mother and grandmother both fulfillments in their careers. Neither were quite as successful on the domestic front, though. They neither one found much sense of joy in cleaning and organizing the home, in fixing gourmet meals, or in entertaining. Thanksgiving dinner was packaged from the local grocery store. I knew every style of TV dinner by the time I was 3. I am blessed to want to learn basic homemaking skills. This blog chronicles what does and doesn't work for me.
