Just last weekend I decided to baked a Pumpkin Pie and this is the recipe that I followed. Last weekend we went to Rock City Garden. We leave around 8am from the hotel in Chattanooga, Tennessee we arrived in the area around 8:30am. Last week Keith and I drove from Maryland to Chattanooga Tennessee for 10 hours we are planning to spend two weeks here. As we already near the city we noticed huge billboards for miles around about “RUBY FALLS”. We got curious and checked the Ruby Falls brochure we found in the hotel. Ruby falls consider as one of the tourist attraction in Chattanooga, Tennessee, it’s the tallest and deepest underground waterfall open to the public. We decided to visit it during the weekend and get a combo ticket online to visit Ruby Falls and Rock City.

We went first at Rock City from 8am-3pm and we went to Ruby falls from 3:30pm to 8pm which is just 10 minutes far from Rock City. I will talk about our Rock City experience on my next post.

Our Ruby Falls adventure begins by descending in an elevator 260 ft. into Historical Lookout Mountain. We have a tourist guide who explained to us how Ruby Falls discovered over 75 years ago. They also had short video show underground showing how Ruby Falls started. Ruby Falls was discovered by Leo’s Lambert, he name it in honor of his wife, named, RUBY.

As soon as you enter the cave containing the falls you are hit by a gust of fresh, water-bespattered air; it’s as if you were entering a place of worship, so beautiful. You can see different Formation like cactus and candle, onyx column, frozen Niagara and ruby’s drapery inside the cave. Near the end of the cave path, you’ll hear the thundering roar of falling water was breathtaking. Ruby Falls is 145 ft. high waterfall pouring from an opening at the tip of the huge cavern which sits 1120 feet under rock. And to this day nobody knows from where the water comes. It’s a mystery and another God’s wondrous spectacle.
