About a year and a half ago I had to leave my full time job due to babysitter issues... Well I still have those issues, but I thought I might have had a solution to my problem... Today and tomorrow is my husband ' s last two days of vacation... Although the kids fought A LOT, the week was very good and relaxing... We didn ' t do a whole lot of anything but did spend quite a bit of time visiting with my husband ' s sister who arrived from out West... Although the kids have only been out of school for about five weeks now, it feels like it ' s been about five months... And the longer their home, the worse their fighting has become... I know part of the reason is because it ' s so darn hot outside all the time and it ' s getting to them, but I think the major reason is because they are not in school and are starting to miss it... So in less than a month they both go back and maybe that will put an end to all this fighting... I couldn ' t wait to go and show all my friends all the neat stuff that my parents bought me for back to school... I especially loved all the name branded pencils and books that my parents bought for me... These color labels make it so easy to label everything that belongs to my children and the kids just love it as it means that no one will take any of their stuff either... Now that I have all the kid ' s school supplies bought, it ' s time for me to visit my favorite site over at global.dymo.com and purchase all the supplies that I ' m going to need for these two kids in the coming year... … View Post »

After almost a month of hot, humid and sticky weather we are starting to see some rain... I am also quite happy that I have some outdoor furniture covers otherwise with all the rain we have been getting over the past couple of days, my outdoor furniture would have taken a beating... I ' m going to have to get a passport before July of 2009... Our government just announced that any Canadian who wishes to cross the border after July 2009 will be required to show a valid Canadian passport... And this is one thing that I currently do not own... But after July 2009 my driver ' s license won ' t be good enough to use as ID for the US... … View Post »
