I ve had them all day, and nothing I do will make them go away... They re not continous per say, but I ve had them at least once an hour since lunch time, and it s really getting annoying... We ve been running around all evening, and I ve been chilled to the bone... We stopped by my best friend s house for a few minutes since I haven t seen her in over a month, but I just felt too horrible to stick around long... Hubby played a few songs on Rock Band, then we headed home... As soon as we walked in the door I sat down in my recliner, wrapped up in two blankets, and asked Hubby to build a fire... As usual the change in temps has thrown my head into a loop again... My head feels like it s on fire, but the rest of my body is shivering... Heck I m even tempted to pull out a sleeping bag and camp right in front of the wood stove... When I said this was a bad week, I meant it... I don t know wtf is going on with the server, and I m about to pull my hair out... We spent all day yesterday at Hubby s cousin s wedding... It was a beautiful wedding, and we got to see family from all over the country that we haven t seen in a couple years... The reception was in the restaurant at the hotel where the out of town family stayed, so after the reception was over we all headed back to the hotel for an impromptu family reunion... My mother in law s camera was cooperating, her batteries died shortly after we got to the reception, so I let her use my little Kodak... Congrats, and I hope you re having a super awesome time in Cancun right now!... Oh my god why can t this day be over all ready?... It s not exactly his fault that things went bad, but I feel like he s taking his own sweet time getting things fixed... He used to be on top of it, but now I think he s taken on way more than he can handle... There have been a ton of other things go down today that have just put us all in a bad mood... Now I ve got to get everything finished that I haven t done in the past few days while I was sick, then I ve got to get in bed... I ve been in bed with a puke bucket, a bottle of Dayquil, and a couple of books for about 12 hours now... Running to the bathroom doesn t count... Ya know, sometimes I think the best best fat burner in the world is a good case of the stomach flu... He gets the occasional head cold or upset stomach, but for the most part he s pretty resistant to most of the stuff I get... He s just the germ carrier that brings it home with him... This time he s been hit pretty hard, though... He was running to the porta-john to puke every little bit, and he was working up there on top of the mountain in rain and 50 degree weather... I can t tell you the last time I had as much fun as I had last night... My father-in-law s in a new band, and they had a last rehearsal/private show for family and friends before they play their first live gig in a couple weeks... My FIL is an awesome drummer, and the band he was in forever broke up about 3 years ago... I haven t heard him play in over 2 years, so I made a point to be there last night... I was so tired I just couldn t hold my head up anymore... I fell asleep on the way home, and I woke up long enough to pull my clothes off and throw my robe on... Last month I signed up for a hometown video contest to showcase the good, bad, ugly, or even hilarious stuff about my hometown... A little about my hometown: I ve lived in Walhalla, SC, practically my entire life... I live well outside of town in the middle of BFE, but when I need something, Walhalla is the closest town 15 minutes away... Oh what to do It seems like lately Hubby and I have become the poster relationship for all of our newly married friends... We get bombarded with questions about how we ve kept our relationship so strong at such a young age... To me, I don t feel like we were extremely young when we got married because around here most girls are either knocked up and married or running off to get married to escape this place right out of high school... I was 1 1/2 months shy of 22 when I got married, and I do see how a lot of people in this day and age thing that s young... I also know this falls into a gray area for me... He keeps asking me to give him a woman s perspective on their issue... Yes, she might be acting stupid in my opinion, but she fully believes she s in the right...
