British student Sally Cluley flew into the record books when she became the youngest qualified pilot in Britain! Sally passed her flying test back in August when she was just 16 years old, and received her private license on her birthday in September.

After graduating from school, Sally wants to join the RAF ( Royal Air Force), and help defeat the U.K. She joined a training squadron at RAF Birstall in 2006, and earned almost 50 flying hours’ worth of instruction with the youth-oriented Air Training Corps. “Flying just seemed to come naturally to me,” said sally. “It makes me feel as free as a bird.” She wants to be a commercial pilot instead if she can’t make it into the RAF.

As people live their daily lives, they encounter people who treat them unfairly. They are so ruthless that they are willing to put others in their complete misery that could leave them destroyed for the rest of their lives.

The 12 episode live action series of Jigoku Shoujo has an equal amount of pros and cons. Perhaps one of the highest negative factors is that the acting was not convincing enough. The antagonists especially lack the certain evilness that can persuade its viewers to think that they really deserve to be taken to hell. Also, the portrayal of Ai is quite bland and boring. This is a crucial aspect considering that Ai is the central character in the story.

On the other hand, the live action’s loyalty to the anime is worth praising. Frm the eerie background music, the costumes of Ai and the Hell correspondents and every special effect imaginable had been recreated to preserve authentically. Even Ai’s obsolete-looking computer is presented there! In addition, Olivia’s beautiful and airy voice provides a nice touch in the series’ ending theme entitled “Dreamcatcher”.

When it comes down to it, the anime remains supreme over the live action series. Still, if you’re in the mood to watch a nice and short series that is not overly horrifi, then why don’t you give Jigoku Shoujo live action a whirl?
