I got this wonderful software from download squad and I am using it right now. I find its usage very friendly and interesting. I am using the fade in and fade out effect when opening and closing a program or window. What is good about this program is that it only uses 8Mb of RAM or less which means it will not hog your system.

Lebendig is a free Windows utility that adds a bit of eye candy to your window transitions. When you launch or close a window you can have it fade in or out, scroll down from the top of the screen, up from the bottom, or move from left to right or vice versa. Overall there are about 15 transitions to choose from, although to be honest, some of them looked pretty much identical to us.

You can adjust just how windows look when they launch, or when they close or specify which types of windows you'd like to be affected. For example, if you want program windows to use the default Windows animations while Explorer windows fade in and out, you can do that.

It is a light weight utility that can process large amounts of information quickly and let you know if your MP3 files:

• Are missing ID3 tags
• Don't meet your bit rate or sample rate requirements
• Are stereo or mono
• Meet a specified volume threshold

What is good about MP3-Check is that it lets you choose third party tools to associate with the program so that, for example, when you find an MP3 with no ID3 information you can right click on it to launch your favorite ID3 tag editor or you could check out MusicBrainz which will compare your files with an online database and try to find the correct metadata.

Ever get annoyed when you are installing an add-on for firefox and you have to wait for 3 seconds or more before you could begin to install it. The delay is actually so that your computer won't wind up installing malicious code when you click on something that you only thought was an add-on. Have you find yourself getting irritated by pressing no all the time when you copy a file to another folder and there is a file conflict because windows only gives you an option of yes, yes to all, no and cancel button on the confirm file replace dialog box. How much you feel that there must be a no to all but you cannot find it. If there is so many file conflict, I just hit the yes to all button and just wait to finish the copying or moving of files. But the process could have been easier and faster if there is a no to all button. This problem have been fixed in Windows Vista but if you are still working on WIndows XP, there is still a stealthy way to tell Windows not to overwrite all the files with name conflicts and thereby skip them over. You can create this “No to All” functionality by simply pressing and holding the SHIFT key when you click the No button in the Confirm File Replace dialog box.

There have been instances that you did not save your word document and when you open your document the option of recovery did not showed up. There is a manual option of doing this recovery it is by using Notepad. To open Notepad click on the Start button, go to 'App Programs', then 'Accessories' and click on its icon. You can then drag and drop the corrupt file into Notepad.As you can see Notepad is showing some garbage as well as the text of the Word document. The garbage is an attempt by Notepad to display binary (non-textual) information such as images and the like.Switch on word wrapping, making Notepad remove the scroll bar from the bottom and spread long pieces of text over more than one line. To do this pull down the 'Format' menu and click on 'Word Wrap' if it is not already ticked. This will make the file easier to search through for the text you wish to recover.You can now either just browse through the file copying and pasting the text you want into a new Word document, or you can use the 'Find...' facility in Notepad to locate the lost text (it is in the 'Edit' menu). I have already tried Ubuntu, and I may say it is just another easy to setup especially to noobs like me. Just by activating my dual monitor, I had to research and reformat for a couple of work. As new updates on linux are showing the more it becomes user friendly.
