I didn’t read the entire article but I read the headlines about the billionaire that committed suicide over a lose. Maybe I should have but everyone has an opinion on anything I am no different. Perhaps it is because I am a poor lady that I don’t see suicide a way out. If I were a billionaire and I became a millionaire I don’t think suicide will accomplish anything then again I never say more than $1000 at one time so I may have no idea what I am talking about.
Rehashing the same thing all over the place, suicide isn’t worth it. Maybe this billionaire tried before and because he was rich could afford to cover it all up so one knew. I have read many people who commit suicide often tried before. I can sit here and say suicide is bad and there must be another way but the people who are thinking about it need a little bit more than a ray of sunshine. I think I mentioned this on one of the other blogs I run but know someone who wanted to commit suicide.
I was 13 and the person was 13. I found out through his girlfriend who was also my friend that he wanted to do it and he had a bottle of tyelnol and he was going to do it. This was when most of us thought that you could do it with a bottle of tyelnol. I was scared and I stood up to my teacher and he let me go, at first he wasn’t going to let me leave. I told the counselor even though I knew he would be mad at me. I knew what I had to do and I did it sure wasn’t easy and I didn’t really like that he hated me but he was alive and a little better. It was one of the most difficult things I ever did but I am glad I did it. Years later he forgave me by saying thanks.
What does this all mean, if you know someone who may be thinking about or have mentioned suicide get help for that person no matter the cost because you could save that person. Anything can make a person act on impulse for suicide and the billionaire must have already been thinking about it and then something bad happened to him and sent him over the edge.
I am sorry for the lack of updates on this blog but I took a little R and R. I was done work on Sunday and I am off for the three days, I will work Thursday-Friday and then off again for 3 more days. Since I started working I rarely had more than two days off and when I did have off it was a day here or there. I am enjoying my time all together off. I have been sleeping and catching up on housework. Also I have been doing things that I find enjoyable such as reading and playing computer games.
Everyone should have a day of nothing it really recharges the body. Of course I will probably get sick of the nothing by tomorrow but it is all good. Have a great day everyone
Hello all, yesterday was the boyfriend’s birthday. He already knew what is present was going to be, The Sims 2 Double Deluxe. I know it is odd that he would already know but this time it was a good thing he already knew because he found the game dirt cheap. At Wal-mart the game is $19.82 with my discount I will pay around $17 or so but at at Best Buy they had the game for $9.95. So after my daughter’s dentist appointment we went to Best Buy. I am glad he saw that our I would have lose an extra ten bucks.
I am not daying I wouldn’t still bought the game but I saved money and that is important. This will be a rather poor week for me since I went away we don’t have much money at our disposal but that is okay it is not like I haven’t been watching pennies before. Have a nice weekend everyone.
Remeber I said I was looking to see if carrying Google Adsense and Page rank were related. Several months ago I added the ads to most of my blogs and retained my page rank of 2 for a couple of months. I had a page rank on business blog but for some reason that also has dissapeared and I do absolutely no paid posts on there. I don’t know what gives. I will be removing the Google Ads from all blogs except for this one since this is my “money blog” so to speak.
Well at least now I know. Hopefully, I get to stay with pay per post I haven’t gotten an email regarding this blog or Champagne Dreams, so we will see. I still have to open a savings account which I will do when I get paid this coming week so I can start saving money in the bank. This year I will change my spending habits.
Have a great one.
Remember when I said about my heel pain and I wasn’t sure what was causing the problem. I still may have another problem but I did find a reasonably priced insole that helped with a lot of the pain. I did buy some new shoes the other day but my feet were still so sore. The other day I was at work and the pain was so bad I limped. I must have limped pretty bad and I had 2 people ask me if I was okay. After work that night I bought Dr Scholl’s tri-comfort insoles.
They provide three levels of comfort such as heel cushioning, arch support ( I do have high arches and this might cause some pain because when I soak in a hot bath the pain subsides) and just general foot cushioning. What is nice about these insoles are you can put them in any pair of shoes because there is no adhesive on the bottom of the insoles. Another thing is they are under $10 for men or women pairs and the name is a good one. I think if you are experiencing problems as I have check these insoles out and hopefully they work you as they work for me.

Currently, I have 2 sources of income: paid blogging and my regular paycheck. I was thinking earlier I should change some money habits and the biggest one is saving money on a regular basis. I suppose the norm is 10% of earnings. This is really nice except if I make $400 a paycheck that means $40 and I really couldn’t afford that to easily, not with out taking the money sometime in the nearest future. I can afford $10 a pay. With Wal-Mart I can actually have that money deposited right into my savings account and then the rest of my paycheck go into my checking acocunt.
I don’t have a goal for the money, I just want to exhibit self-control and save money so I have it. I suppose that is not very definite goal but it is something. Here are my money goals for 2009:
- open a savings account with my local bank
- link paypal to my savings account
- have wal-mart deposit $10 from each pay into my savings
- deposit $10 each week from paypal into my savings account
If I do this I should wind up with $100 each month in my savings and by next January have about $1200, a nice chunk of change. I really want to do this so I will keep you posted on how well I am doing each month. The biggest challenge will be paying myself from paypal since I have to do that on my own. I will probably get the savings account in the near future.
Take care
Well I got my last paycheck for the year from Wal-Mart on wednesday and right now I am not sure if I broke even between my paid blogging money and my actual working money. I have to go through all the companies and see what I made from paid blogging. I even opted to have Wal-Mart take an extra $2 from paycheck to pay more taxes.
Though the good news is I know I made over $3,000 for the year so if there are any new stimulus packages I should get one and I should be able to get a bigger earned income credit since I made more this year and I should be eligible to recieve the rebate that was given out this past spring since I didn’t get one before. Last year, I recieved $3 so I am hoping for a little bit more this year.
Take care.
Just a side note, I will be away until Sunday night so I won’t be posting again until then have a nice weekend.
Well I did it, I finished Christmas shopping last week. The only thing I had to buy today was some food for tomorrow’s Christmas dinner. At least I wasn’t buying toys. I am glad I bought presents a little at each time with each paycheck because now I have plenty of money to visit my parents this weekend and I am only taking some of that and leaving the rest in the bank.
I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. And remember it is okay to indulge every once and awhile make this a special and memorable Christmas.
Take care
I think many people who have saw a therapist at least once will say that it really helped them through. Sometimes it is that person who will sit and listen is just enough for you to feel better. If you find yourself searching for a therapsit to help manage larger problems, it is better if you find someone that shares the same values as you do and will tailor therapy for your individual needs. That sounds all fine and dandy but where do you find such a therapist? At Theravive.
Theravive is an internet based therapist listing service where you can find a value therapist just by a click. Not only can you find a real live counseling Los Angeles but you can also browse e-therapists. The internet is really changing. Do check out the site if you are looking for a counselor because it is best to find someone who truly cares about you and wants you to succeed at your therapy and in your life. They also have listings for marriage counselors as well.
