I work in an insurance company and I trace phone numbers a lot so I know I am entering information accurately. I also trace phone numbers when I get those annoying calls from telemarketers. One time, I found out that one of those callers was from Sprint.

Do you get those unknown callers who call you every day? Do you get those annoying 800 numbers and do not even leave a message? It will keep you wondering for days until you make a reverse lookup. Trace those numbers in TraceNumber.com and stop wondering. They will tell you who owns those numbers. Their service is available for telephone and cell phone numbers in US and Canada. Another thing that you need to know, your search is 100% confidential. Ahhh...another site to keep.

I am so excited. Do you know about Magicjack? You only pay $19 something a year for the service. You can call any US and Canada phone numbers for free. I am going to bring this magicjack unit to the Philippines for my family to use so they can call me or vice versa anytime and unlimited. There is also a voicemail feature. It is awesome!

I work and earn money but it seems that money gets out from my pocket sooner than I what I want it to do. It is a very touch time. Americans are angry. Foreclosures are all over the city. It is hard to see the bills on your table waiting to be paid.

I am just glad I got into a stable job before the economy meltdown. My employer is a global company so I am still confident of them keeping me as their employee. Some folks are worried that they may be laid off from their job. It is sad but it is a reality. My husband has a job right now but he really wants to switch to a job where he can practice his real field. Unfortunately, he has not heard any calls from anybody recently. I told him that it is probably the economy situation right now.

Because of the crisis nowadays, it is hard to be debt free. When we were still renting a place to live, we were debt free but we did not own any properties. Now that we have our first place, our own house, it is hard to stay debt free. We have to be careful with our budget. I am very glad that I have a husband who does not spend like a rich guy. Also, I did not grow up from a wealthy family so I did not bring myself into a shopaholic community. We save as much as we can but still debt knocks on our door. Scary thing!

Debt problem? Why not consolidate debt? I know. We have a little debt but I'd rather take care of it now before it grows so bad. There are good resources out there that you can use such as bills.com. From mortgages to credit debts to consolidating bills are available for you to learn, get qoutes and start saving. I actually looked at their Student Loans and it would probably be a good idea to do that than using credit cards to pay tuitions.

When people start saving, they spend more in retail or invest. When people spend or invest more, more jobs are created. When more jobs are created, economy rises. Am I right here? Start the good chain reaction by checking bills.com. You'll learn a lot.

I have no idea why I came by. I just missed blogging. I guess I have to visit this once in a while so blogger.com does not close my account (if they ever do). Anyway, I had a great time last month for our two-week vacation.

Here are some of the pictures.

Daddy and son
We were just relaxing by the lake with great colors around us in Pinetop, Arizona.

Mommy and son
We were in the train here going to the city of San Francisco.

Family
We were visiting the great Petrified Forest in Arizona. I was amazed.

It was a great family vacation for sure and I thank God for this beautiful country.

This is unbelievable! There are stylish prescription glasses which can be purchased online for only $8.

Do you know how much my prescription glasses were? They were almost $300. That was crazy. I purchased those glasses directly from the clinic. My insurance paid for them but they are still very expensive.

Next time, I should check ZenniOptical.com first. Check out the story in Zenni on Fox.

Knock on wood...what if you get a car accident while on vacation? I had a claim today. Poor guy. He and his family are on vacation in Las Vegas and today is their first day to go out. Guess what? They got rear ended and their car is not safe to drive anymore. I felt so sorry for him.

He should go to Advantage.com to check for good deals on a car rental. They have 50% discount on Luxury and Convertible car rentals. It might be worth the time to check it.

I know...I am finally back in this addictive blogging world. I am back slowly though.

Be careful everyone!

Naomi, a Filipina blogger, asked me about how to make the blogroll with the scrollbar. I will make the instructions as easy as I can. I hope this helps.

I would say that it has three elements.

1. The TOP CODE - Copy and paste the code below.

Make sure you change the numbers on the FONT-SIZE (size of the texts inside the box- mine is 12pt- that might be too big) and the WIDTH & HEIGHT (size of the box). You can change the color of the texts by deleting GRAY (code--- COLOR: gray;) into a color that you want. You can also change the color of the background (code--- BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent) into a color that you want. Make sure you spell them correctly. Try some colors and see if it works. Patience is the key. Trial and error process is a must.

2. The Middle Code- so you want to add the blog links now in your blogroll. Copy & paste the code below

Enter the Blog link in between " and " symbols and enter the name of the Author or the Blog Tile (or something-it is up to you) between the > and < symbols.

3. The Bottom Code - Copy and paste the code below to close the codes I'd say.

And you are done. Make sure you make enough space in between those codes (1-2-3) so you know which one is which.

I hope that was clear enough. Any questions? Please let me know.

Cheers!

I find this Luminox watch very attractive. They really look great for men. I am sure my father would love to have one. He likes watches better than any other type of gadgets. His watch looks like a Luminox watch but nothing can beat the real Luminox watch.

My husband is very simple so I don't think he cares about it. He does not even wear the watch that I gave him on Valentine's day 2 years ago. He forgets or he is not use to wearing any type of jewelries at all.

Well, do you have an old Luminox Watch that you want to give away? My hands are open. I can give it to my father on his birthday. That would be nice.

I am sure there are a lot of Filipinos who want to work abroad especially to Canada, USA or UK. A kilo of rice in the Philippines has tripled after four years of living in the United States. Gas Price hits record high. Food prices are painful. What are you going to do?

My bestfriend is currently studying a Nursing Aid course for 6 months and is aiming to work abroad after she graduates. It might not be as easy as it sounds but at least she has this kind of plan. I am trying to help her by searching online about working in Canada. I found a website owned by a Filipina in Canada who married maybe a Canadian guy.

Check the site Nice Heart International.

They also have a toll free number of (877) 580-5198. I should call and see what they'll say. I am really determined to help my bestfriend and making sure she gets a good paying job.

If you have any idea as to where my bestfriend can apply or get an employer that can sponsor her, please leave me a message.

Thank you.

My eyes....they are tired. My normal shift is 12pm-9pm. I chose that shift because it works for everybody---myself so I can sleep in, my husband so he can cuddle more with me, my son so he can see me more in the morning and my mother-in-law so she can spend more time just for herself before babysitting my son. It works for 10 months.

This week I work 8am-5pm to give my co-worker back a favor. My body has a hard time adjusting. My eyes are still trying to sleep in the morning and my head is just painful. My husband said he is the Mr. Mom today because I did not do anything at home from the previous days. Everytime I come home from work, I just lay down in my couch. I try to entertain my baby but I feel bad because my energy is just not there.

I kinda like the regular 8am-5pm shift but I guess it takes time for my body to adjust. I can wait but until then, I have to suffer the pain in my head.

I am sorry co-bloggers for not dropping entrecards and not reading your posts. I am just so tired and exhausted. I hope you understand. I will be back soon, hopefully.

I just want to share this to you. The name of this cake sounds gross but when you taste it, you feel heaven. My co-workers loved it and they asked for the recipe right away. Do you want to give it a try? Here is the recipe:

DUMP CAKE by Jan Grace

Dump into 9x13" baking dish:

1 can crushed pineapple
1 can pie cherries pre-filling
1 package yellow cake mix, dry
Cover with 1 1/2 sticks sliced butter and chopped nuts (or pecan).

Bake 350 degress about 1 hour, till browned.

What I did was I dumped the pineapple crush evenly in the pan first. Then, I dumped the cherry pre-filling evenly on top of the crushed pineapple. I evenly dumped the yellow cake mix on top of the fruit layers. I then added the sliced butter on top of the cake mix. If you want, you can add nuts on top. I did not because my son is allergic to them.

You bake this in a 350 degrees for an hour until browned.

You can experiment and decorate such as this one:

Try this and you will see what I am talking about.

So I just got tagged from Maya. She is very sweet when she told me she tagged me so I will grab it. LOL!

I just do not have that much time to blog anymore. I work in front of the computer all day at work and when I get home, my energy seems to go away. My son and my husband helped me get my energy back. Thank you Michael & Pappadaddy.

Okay, I just want to tell you all some few things.

First, I just want to remind the parents about "Dry Drowning". To know more about it, please read this article. It is very alarming. You child's lungs might be drowning without you knowing it. A 10-year old boy died an hour later after their swim in the swimming pool. He walked home, took a bath and went to bed. His mom found him dead later in his room. So please read it. It can't hurt you spending a little time.

Second, to my sweet co-bloggers who tagged me recently, I will post the tag as soon as I can. Right now, my eyelids are falling.

Last, I am sad that Rudy "Daboy" Fernandez, one of my favorite Filipino actors died last week at a young age. I will miss him. Prayers to his family.

That is all for tonight. I will post more tomorrow, God willing.
God bless and happy blogging!

I have a lot of plans that have been bothering me. I guess I think things a lot even though they are still far from reality. I just love to think in advance. Part of it is because I am an introvert person.

Here are the things in my mind recently:

My son and I in the Philippines - When I visit my family with my son who has a nut allergy, is it going to be hard for my son to eat there? If he'd have a bad allergic reaction, do the hospitals in the city know how to deal with it? Nut allergy is so rare in the Philippines, I believe. I only heard of it here in US.

My bestfriend plans to visit us - my bestfriend is planning to visit us here in Colorado Springs. I am worried that there won't be enough space for her in our house. We only have 2 bedrooms at this time because our basement is still unfinished. She does not care but I like her to be comfortable as much as possible and staying in a hotel won't do any good. It will be too expensive.

Have a finished basement - Am I thinking too much about money? I am always thinking about working overtime at work so I can save money to finish our basement. Would it be too much for me and my family?

Am I getting a sloppy mother? - I am getting lazy. I guess I am just stressed out from working too much. My son is a handful too.

I don't know why I am thinking too much. I had to say sorry again to my husband today because I acted like a monkey (he said jokingly). I have to slow down...slow down...slow down...meditate maybe.
