My mom went to Nueva Ecija the other day and what did you know, she bough bunch of this...

Chicharon

Oh boy...I am on a diet albeit this pork crackling is as well as good to pass up. I ate few pieces...five small pieces, hubs on the other hand got some more pieces and ate it along with rice and the sauteed vegetable we had for dinner that night. It was good he exclaimed. Chicharon is a real favorite, with a good vinegar for dipping, I could finish the whole pack but I have to watch it. I don't want to add more pounds.

The pack of chicharon is still more than half filled at this moment. I still don't know when will I bite some pieces again. I could ask mom to cook sauteed munggo and replace the pork with this. Yummm!!!

If you have this pack of chicharon, what will you do with it?

The husband is thinking of getting a new desktop for our small computer business. Some of his friends suggested getting a laptop instead. But husband much preferred a desktop since it will cost less and it comes with empty bays which can be efficiently used to upgrade RAM or install a faster chipset. In addition desktop upgrade cost less than laptop. Aside from these, husband wanted to get a sleek and slim monitor that will not consume space and energy saving. That would be the perfect computer package that my husband wanted.

Therefore, the husband had been checking online for reviews that will help him out on what desktop and monitor to get. I know with the stiff competition with the business were in, getting a brand new desktop unit will attract more customers to avail the service we offer. :)

This coming 2009, my husband and I are praying for more success in our business and prosporous New Year!

When your ready to bake, heat overn for 375 degrees F, On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough out to 1/4 inch in thickness (mine was a bit thicker though). Cut in shapes with cookie cutters. Add more flour to the surface as the dough is sticky. Place cookies 1 1/2 inches apart onto cookie sheets.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes (so as not to break the cookies) before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

The other day, I was able to chat with my friend at California. It’s been a long time that we had not communicated. So I was so eager to know more things about him. He is now married with three beautiful kids and right now he is working as a law enforcer.

I was so lucky to find him online as he was canvassing stuffs at Work Boots USA. So as not to look dumb, I quickly googled Work Boots USA for me to be informed about their products. Then I found out that it’s a store who sells 5.11.
I got interested with their tactical series clothing which promotes safety, accuracy, speed and performance of law enforcement, military and firefighting professionals. So that is the reason why my friend trusted this store with his tactical gears from head to foot.

Upon further browsing their site, I got informed that they have a full line dealer of the best selling tactical clothing, uniforms, outerwear, footwear, eyewear, duty knives, tactical gear, holsters and more on this site. So no wonder they are one of the fastest growing company in the US.

My friend has been loyal to Work Boots USA. As their products are durable, long lasting and not to forget that their prices are way cheaper compared to others. Because it’s the season of giving, he wanted to buy a tactical series eyewear to give as a present to his brother. He asked my opinion about the design. I looked at the eyewear he was referring and I am really amaze because it is stylish yet durable because it is armed with a hard shell and its price is so reasonable. So I told him it would be a great buy. Then I advice him to buy more stuffs atleast above 50 dollars from Work Boots so he could avail free ground shipping. That is a great deal right?

Then my friend suddenly said goodbye for he has to chat lives online with customer service. So I told him not to forget to buy me something form Work Boots USA.

So I am keeping my fingers cross.

We had this for dinner a while ago. although buying roasted or baked chicken is just as easy as 1,2,3, I opted to make my own. You see, those cooked chicken available commercially are usually salty or bland.

So to do this:

In a bowl, mix sugar, vinegar, rosemary and voo, blend well. Pour the marinade into a large resealable plastic bag; place the chicken in. Seal bag and and refrigerate chicken for a hour or two.

Now, before you bake the chicken, you have to preheat the oven for 350C

Okay..so drain the chicken. Before placing in a baking dish, rub it with the sugar, cayenne pepper, ground pepper & rosemary.

Bake for a hour and a half

You have to try this!

Bon appetit!
