You can see it is getting close to that time of year when the jolly old man is coming to fill stockings full of toys for all the good boys and girls!... Ohh it is a headache, the shops are just filling up with rude people pushing and shoving, fighting over the toys and running to the cash register as fast as they can, then waiting in line and whining the whole shop down because it is so busy, We are all so happy it is that time of year again right?... This year I am freaking out, I am stressing... My expenses this year have been double what my yearly income is, after adding up all the lawyers bills it comes close to 23,000euro on top of that is the gas money to drive to court and also to get my daughter which all added up to just over 5,000, not including the pit stops for a coke or snack, which has stopped I live on bread and water now... Not to forget that even though I have had to keep paying my "regular" bills such as, water, electricity, insurance, so on and so forth, you get the idea... Last Monday just about made me cry, I have budget everything to the cent and then a kick in the teeth bill come in and it is close to 1,000euro and it is like a lawyers bill you can not put it off as they will sue your arse... I started seeing Christmas things going up in shops in August, I aged 10 years and turned grey that very same week!... You have to see this, it reminds me of so many people I know who are sitting behind their desk all day who are meant to be working but they are on their instant messenger telling me how they have nothing to do but pick their nose all day (Hi Wayne) It is about recruitment training wait till you see Wayne... I must say it does remind me of a lot of work places I have seen and continue to see... I am sure you have all been there before, even when just going for an interview at a new company, you walk in you look your best, your in a great frame of mind, ready to explode your knowledge at the interviewer, enthusiastic, ready for a challenge, ready to knock the socks off people and you see the kind of people you will me working with and there is Wayne sitting in at his desk picking his nose, there is an empty desk next to him, that could be your place of work!... Sometimes companies need a fresh approach to recruit training... Some companies get stuck in a rut but it does not have to be like that, they can explode their client base, improve new business skills, get the consultants motivated, inspire and engage them in new conquests and for sure help people like Wayne, lets face it poor old Wayne needs a helping hand and if it was my desk next to his I will be pushing him!... I do not know why but today at work went so fast, my boss was away for a lot of it so I could get my things done really quickly, though the end was somewhat slower as she was back and found final little things for me to do, but I love my job so I am more then happy to do it, even if it runs into my own time... There was a family meeting the other day to see what is next and it was voted that we will be doing the attic, We are all missing Jill here but until she returns we are putting all the effort into get her room finished... It was voted that in this time and age that we should be using more of the natural light given to us, saving on electricity and lets face it nothing is more nicer then natural light shining through the windows so we are going to put into Jills room some roof lights and sky lights , opening up and brightening the whole room, bringing in all the natural light and offer another energy saving solution... Ok it is not going to be as big as the famous glass pyramid at the Louve in Paris, though it will be letting in the right amount of light and be a lot easier to clean, my goodness can you imagine trying to clean the Louves pyramid?... Anyway back to the skylight we are looking for, there is so many designs out there we are spoilt for choice, nothing is to big or to small, to get a dome or a pyramid, or just a window, it is all an option though the thought of a pyramid does give me flash backs to the Louve, ok I am sorry I can not get it out of my head!... So we have voted on it and it is a go but I am going to leave the final word to Jill on what kind she wants as lets face it she will have to live with it and lets get the self washing kind!... … View Post »
