I was watching the news this morning and caught into my attention this about this giant Saudi oil tanker that was hijacked nearby to Somalia... Hopefully, the hijacker will not hurt any of the crews of the ship... I think for this month alone, pirates have seized a Japanese cargo ship off Somalia, a Chinese fishing boat off Kenya and a Turkish ship transporting chemicals off Yemen... The Ship is owned by the Saudi company Aramco, it made its maiden voyage in March... Unfortunately because of the current economic downturn and the possible ramifications in the near future I have seen a lot of people start to cut back on the non-essentials... Things like nights on the town, dinning out, buying items you really do not need and other ways to save that spare change in your pocket... And even though Christmas is just around the corner, customers are finding alternative ways to get the gift that they want to buy for their family... This morning around 7:00AM, my parents in-law and I are usually having a cup of tea in the living area while watching and listening to Pastor John M Hagee... His message today was so touching and it strikes us... I ' ve learned a lot from him that particular message about giving back to God... Yesterday, my husband and I was talking about our financial and suddenly it popped up in to my mind if he is giving tithe to the church and he told "NO" I told him, no wonder why we don ' t have any control of our financial because we are not faithful of giving tithe to Him... I think it is safe to say that I love the Christmas season... It is a time for the family to come together, enjoy each others company, have some good food, play and laugh and show our love for them... I know for the children there is only one thing on their minds and that is Christmas morning when they get to rip open their gifts and see what they received for this year... As a child, I waited with anticipation for that morning and I found it very hard to sleep the night before...
