Ferrari theme park is the World’s largest indoor theme park that was constructing since November 2007 in Abu Dhabi and set to be completed, opened in year 2010. This will be the new holiday destination for all the Farrari fans and those who want to experience the great theme park on the world.


The Ferrari theme park will be covered with its red roof which had been inspired by the classic double curve side profile of the Ferrari GT body.



The theme park covers a surface area of 200,000 meter square, which is equally 2.15 million square feet and measuring an astonishing 66 meters or 217 feet in diameter. Watch the sample video clip after the jump.

There will be a number of attractions for the theme park. It will be included rides for children of all ages and the world’s fastest roller coaster. Traveling at speeds that exceeding 200 km/h (124 mph). Visitors can now emulate the feeling and experience of being in the Ferrari F1 car.

So far, the Ferrari theme park has been built at October 2009.


The Ferrari theme park is located on Yas Island on the North East side of Abu Dhabi’s mainland, which also between the coast and the city of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The travel distance is about 10 minutes drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport and 50 minutes from Yas Marina Circuit.

Ideum is a company that designs and creates interactive computer-based exhibits, rich Internet applications and social networking sites for museum and web visitors. Most of Ideum products are specially designed and engineered for high-tech exhibition centers, museums, nonprofits and socially responsible companies.


On 29th October 2009, the company has announced the installation of their 100 inch ultra wide screen multi touch table for a number of new technology-based exhibits at Adventure Science Center in Nashville, Tennessee.



This is an impressive and huge hardware device that boasting 86 viewable inches, a width 2,304 x 800 resolution of the screen display with 16 x 5 aspect ratio. The table itself can support up to 50 simultaneous touch points, the Flash-based software is tailored for learning applications.

The table is about 31 inch tall, it is comfortable for the users to explorer and learn about the Electromagnetic Spectrum in new ways. Users can move images across the table to see how they are imaged in each waveform and access information about what they are seeing.


The custom software that built on this device was based on Adobe’s Flash software and their own GestureWorkds framework, which allows Flash developers to develop their own custom multi touch applications. The tracking software was developed by Natural User Interface Technologies, which is a Swedish technology company that specializing in multi touch software.


Ideum’s 100 inch multi touch table support for the multi touch and multi user mash-up that enable users to explore Flickr photos placed on a Yahoo! Map; its multi touch enabled panoramic image viewer allows for pinch gesture to zoom in and out of a panoramic photograph. Custom 3D modeling of the area allows users to visually view from location to location. This table design is based on their commercially version of MT-50 multi touch table.

Nowadays, there are plenty of search engines available on the web. One of the image search engine GazoPa has recently released by Hitachi America after a year of private beta trial service. This is the open beta version to the public for trying, testing, feedback without any registration to the system.


GazoPa is a next generation of similar image search engine, which allows users to search for the images based on the image features such like a color, a shape that are extracted from a key image that uploaded by the users.



Users can perform various kinds of search method for similar images by using GazoPa. For example, Users can upload an image (4MB Maximum size) from their PC; key in the image URL into the search field; search by keyword; install the GazoPa plugin for the Firefox; install GazoPa bookmarklet; or even users can random search the similar images by “Shuffle” feature.

There are various options for the filtering of the similar images such like Standard, Layout, Color, Shape, Face. Standard option allows user to search images in average, Layout options allows users to search for images that are given priority to composition.


GazoPa also has their own crawling tool, the GazoPabot crawler will follow Robots.txt standard way to crawl the webpages, contents and will not index contents from those webpages whose do not want to be included in GazoPa search. So, when the Robots.txt is defined and disallowed to be crawled, GazoPa does not read or use the contents of that webpages.

On 28th October 2009, Motorola and Verizon Wireless have announced the DROID by Motorola, the world’s first smartphone that powered by Google’s Android 2.0 mobile operating system. So, it is the fastest Android smartphone compare to other Android powered smartphones.
