Maple Lake, Ontario is where I spent the carefree summers of my youth.
Situated in the heart of one of Canada's prime vacation destinations, this travel blog is an ongoing love letter, both written and photographic. Maple Lake's cottage country is where my grandparents staked a claim over 65 years ago.

I also stay abreast of current events/activities in the Maple Lake area and the expanding Algonquin and Haliburton Counties which are unique slices of nirvana.

On a more practical level, I am renovating and upgrading the cottage and each summer I'll visually record the changes and how my spouse and I've accomplished them.
