Grrr. I just deleted another post.

I’m teaching middle school math today. It’s easy peasy.

Right now I’m on a break. I’m hanging out in the library making a bunch of copies. I was sitting with and sort of helping another sub and a student. They are totally ignorant about tehnology so I was helping them.

Does anyone else get realy annoyed with people who are ignorant about technology? I mean… Okay, old people kind of have an excuse. But if you are under 30, then you should know this stuff!

Anyway… I’m gonna work on a theme some more this evening. If I can find the right style of theme, then maybe I won’t have any reason to move to a different domain.

Though… I do have this other domain and nothing to do with it. Oh well.

So I’ve been toying with this idea…

See, I want to start promoting my freelancing a bit more. I do both freelance writing and freelance search engine optimization consultation. I want to promoting and publicizing that.

Here’s the thing. I have another domain. I can develop my freelancing business on that domain. But this domain- my name- seems so much better suited to the task.

Except, I have this blog on this domain so nicely optimized.

So I’m debating… This crazy idea… Moving this whole blog- archives and everything- over to another domain. Then I can develop my freelancing on this site.

It’s a totally nutty idea. It makes no sense but at the same time makes perfect sense. Argh.

Or at least, an easy job… at least, as easy as it gets.

I actually wasn’t even called until 8:30.  They were struggling and struggling to find someone to cover this one position, and of course I said yes.  It was definitely nice to “sleep in” a little bit though.

I didn’t do much at all.  I watched detention… and supervised… and looked important.  And that was it.  Can’t complain, though… it’s easy money.

Tonight I am searching for a good theme for this site.  It’s frustrating and slow.  But hopefully I’ll find *something*!

I was born and raised near Kansas City, Missouri, colloquially known as the “city of fountains”.  That worked out well, as I grew up to LOVE fountains.  Technically I love water in general- swimming pools, lakes, rivers - and fountains are just sort of an extension of that.

I would love to install wall fountains, or some other type of fountains, in my home.  Unfortunately I am not ambitious enough to maintain a fountain, so I probably will never get one.  But it would definitely be calming to have one!

I don’t drink anymore.  It’s no judgement on people who drink and nothing against alcohol, just a personal decision I made a few years ago.  I saw the effect alcohol was having on a couple of my friends’ lives, and it was not good.  So I abandoned my dreams of belonging to a wine of the month club- I loved wine!  I guess I just decided it wasn’t worth it anymore.  Now I stick with Diet Coke… which is arguably also bad… but hey, at least it doesn’t cause as many issues with “drinking and driving”.

Apparently there is not much difference.

I’m subbing for a “literacy coach”… Which in this case means “supervisor of the lunch detentions”. It’s super easy… Kids come in and I have to make sure they sit quietly the whole time. The kids know what they are supposesd to do, desks are spaced, and they get more detentions if they misbehave. Basically I’m just here to look important.

Reception is really bad in this building so I will send this. Hope you are all having a great day!

I never did get a phone call to work. I stayed home all day… But I wound up so busy that I didn’t even have time to blog! (Until now, of course.)

I did lots of cleaning and cooking. Also of course I worked on my website… And started to get an order ready… Can’t think of anything else.

I am expecting to get at least one package tomorrow… I’ve actually got three that should arrive soon. I might get a call to sub tomorrow… But who knows. We’ll see in the morning.

I got my Blackberry replaced today.  Went to the AT&T store with my receipt and they just replaced it, very little explanation needed.  It’s nice to have my phone back again.

I can barely believe that tomorrow I will go back to work.  Or at least, I MIGHT go back to work… I don’t have a job yet so who knows.  Plus that means there’s a reasonable chance I’ll get a phone call at 5am. But of course, it’s nice to get that income stream going again.

Of course, if I wind up staying home tomorrow, I have plenty to get done there too.  I’m feeling highly productive this evening… I cleaned/pruned/organized my inbox, from 1500+ messages down to four.  So if I am at home tomorrow, hopefully I can still get lots of work done.
