Man, it's been a busy year so far ... well, not really but I've been busy enough that I don't really have time to sit and blog. And that's not a good sign. Even though my new job has been pretty good and I have loads of flexibility with the way I spend my working hours, it just doesn't involve me sitting in front of the PC all day like my previous job.

Most of the time I'm out following my boss doing stuff and we end sitting at restaurants and cafes drinking coffee all the time ... LOL! Not a bad life really :D And by the time I get home, I'm too lazy to switch on the computer and blog. When it comes to me, sleep always wins out compared to anything else ... hehehe ...

Just glancing at my Google reader is enough to frighten me cos you guys have so many updates that it's going to take me all weekend just to catch up on what's happening in your blogs. Slow down la, don't post so much la, give me some time to catch up a little ... hahaha ...

Overall, the year has been pretty decent. I've nothing major to complain about (for now) and hopefully it stays that way all year. The kids are back at school and things seem to be falling into the usual routine again. Now if only I could translate that into blogging daily again. For now, I'll just have to squeeze in a quick post here and there when I have the time :D

Here's wishing you all a great Wednesday, Tuesday to some of you from different time zones and on different planets :D

The school officially opens tomorrow and the roads are going to be packed silly with cars. I've been enjoying the relatively easy traffic flow for the past 7 weeks because of the school holidays but come tomorrow, it's back to the daily grind of bumper to bumper traffic.

And it's going to hit me even more cos I'm really not used to it. For the past three years or so, my travel time to work was just a short 5 minutes drive away since my office was so near to where I live. But the new place where I work is pretty far away and on a normal day without traffic it takes just a little under half an hour to reach but with the added cars on the road from Monday, god only knows how long it's going to to take me to get to the office!

Like I said, I'm really not used to fighting my way through traffic to get to work so it's going to take a little while for me to get used to it. If I ever get used to it that is. Maybe I could just use my rocket ship to fly to work ... LOL! That would sure solve the traffic problem for me.

Anyway, as I was saying, school opens tomorrow and I'm glad that the kids stuff were all bought way in advance. I can imagine those last minute shoppers rushing to the malls to get their kids school stuff at the various 'Back To School' sale promos that are still being offered at most malls. I'll bet it's a madhouse out there.

I only have to go to their schools tomorrow morning with wifey. We have to split the duties cos both boys study at different schools and we need to pay their school fees (which for the life of me I cannot understand why cos education here is free ... well supposedly anyway) and also pick up their books and stuff.

I've taken a couple of hours off from work to get this done. This is something we have to do every year so it's pretty routine. It's also fun watching the new parents running around aimlessly like chickens without heads sorting out their kids first day of school ... LOL! Not an easy task I tell you cos I've been through it. All the best to them anyway.

Woohoo, the last day of the year is here already. I'm really waiting to get this year over and done with as it's not been a great year for Spacemen like me. So, what have you guys got planned for the big countdown tonight?

I'm sure the town is going to be packed with people ushering in the new year and watching the fireworks display. That is if there is a fireworks display to watch this year. I normally can see the fireworks show from right outside my house so come midnight you'd probably find me standing in my porch ... hehehe ...

This is probably my last post for this year so before I sign off, let me remind you not to forget to check out the flash memory store and if you're going to go out partying tonight, please use your brains and don't drink and drive okay? You don't want to start the New Year with a bang of that sorts!

Here's wishing all my visitors and friends a Happy New Year!

Today is the last day of my Christmas break. It's a public holiday over here and tomorrow it's back to Slave trading in Planet Zork again. But I must say I've had a pretty enjoyable holiday. Christmas didn't turn out as bad as I made it out to be. I did have loads of fun. The only drawback is the added weight I put on around my tummy from all that good food I've been having.

But I guess once I'm back to chasing Zorkian bugs, that added weight will just go away (I hope). It's only 2 days to go and the new year will be upon us. You guys have your new years resolution all ready yet? As for me, I don't think I wanna make any resolutions this year. All the resolutions I've made in previous years have never been kept, so I don't see myself making any this year only to eventually break them!

You guys have any plans to usher in the new year? I've been reading that things will look bleak next year and that we've all got to be more prudent in our spending. It's not really something good to read about the coming new year but I'm going to heed those warnings and watch what I spend my money on next year. I guess we just have to ride through this tide of economic downturn and do what we can to survive through it and things should come back to normal, at least I hope so.

Well, if I don't get online again until next year, I wanna wish all you guys a Happy New Year and may all your wishes for 2009 come true.

It's just past midnight, Christmas is here, the folks sleeping, there's not a sound in the house. Even the rats are asleep. But not this spaceman. No way am I going to sleep. I'm going to wait in hiding and ambush that Santa Claus fellow and grab his bag of goodies.

Now, I know that's not a good thing to do but then, Santa and me are not exactly on good terms. Especially since last year I hijacked his sleigh and took Rudolf on a partying spree around town. He wasn't too pleased about that and he put me high on his naughty list. Actually I think I'm permanently on his naughty list ... hahaha ...

So this year, since I know he's going to leave me nothing but coal, well maybe not even coal, I'm going to grab his goodie bag full of presents and run the hell away from here ... muahahaha ... Well, they don't call me the mischievous Spaceman Spiff for nothing you know.

Ok, ok, it's not midnight and I'm not going to hijack Santa or anything. I'm actually online cos I need to post this little thing on cerebral palsy and then go and join in the merriment of Christmas. And since I'm online, I hope you're all having a blast of a time for Christmas :D

Christmas is in just two days! I can't believe how near it is. I remember complaining about how long it is till Christmas comes around and it'll be Christmas even tomorrow. GASP! I haven't even got a new spacesuit for myself. And the worse thing is I don't really have time to go get me a new one.

At least I got the boys their new clothes and all their presents already. I even managed to get Mrs. Spiff a present :D Phew ... hehehe ... I'm not all that interested in presents for myself (that doesn't mean you can't send me some if you want to, you know ... LOL!). I used to remember as a kid, all I would look forward to on Christmas morning is to see how many gifts I have under the tree.

Me and my cousins would all be competing to see how many presents we'd all have (even though we'd have the exact same amount). It sure is fun being a kid :D But the irony is when you're a kid, you can't wait to grow up and when you'll all grown up, you wish you were a kid again!

I don't have any plans for Christmas this year. No parties being thrown by me unlike last year. I'm just not in the mood for it this year. I'll be attending the midnight mass tomorrow and then I have a dinner invite at my best buddy's place but that's about it. It'll just be a really quiet Christmas at home with Mrs. Spiff and the boys.

And if I get too lazy to blog from now until Christmas, I'd like to wish what little visitors I have over here a very Merry X'mas and Happy Holidays people :D Oh ya, and a great New Year too!

What's your wish this Christmas? Come on, don't be shy, tell me. I'm curious to know. I'm sure we all have wishes for Christmas. I'm sure you've got a wish that you want fulfilled, right? Hey, even a spaceman like me has wishes too.

I know I wish for peace for all mankind ... ok, ok, maybe not to that extent cos wishing for peace is like asking for a million bucks to fall from the sky! And we all know that's practically impossible, ya? My wish is much simpler though kinda embarrassing ... hehehe ...

Deep booming voice from above: 'Come on Spiff, tell us your wish already ...'

Gee, I haven't heard from you in ages Mr. Deep booming voice from above. I thought you forgot me already ... hehehe ... ok, ok, promise me you won't laugh if I tell you?

Deep booming voice from above: 'I promise and I'll even try to make your wish come true'

Well, I've always had this deep desire to sit on Santa's lap! I've never even as a lil spacebaby ever sat on Santa's lap but these days I don't think Santa would even allow me anywhere near him, let alone sit on his lap!

Deep booming voice from above: 'Sit on Santa's lap? Wahahahahaha ... ROTFL! LMAO! LOL!'

Hey, you promised not to laugh! And you even promised to help make my wish come true.

Deep booming voice from above: *holding sides from the pain of laughter* 'Come on, wish for something else Spiff cos I don't think I can convince Santa to let you anyway near him. If it was anyone else, it would be no problem, but not you, you're on his stay away list!'

Aww come on, I thought you can do anything.

Deep booming voice from above: 'Urmm, maybe I could get you a Ceivo Digital Photo Frame instead? It's really high tech and different from the rest as it can receive photos sent directly to the frame from anywhere in the world, you know. And it doesn't distort your picture by strectching, cropping or squishing it. Isn't that cool?'

Not really! I just want to sit on Santa's lap. Is that asking too much?

Deep booming voice from above: 'Did I mention that if you sign up with Ceiva now, you'll be in the running to get a $100 discount and stand a chance of winning a cash prize of $500 if your entry is selected? Come on, please say you'll accept this gift and that you'll give up that wish of wanting to sit on Santa's lap!'

Look, it you can't help me get my wish, then take a hike or I'll blast you to Planet Zork and back with my trusty old ray gun!

Deep booming voice from above: 'Sheesshhh ... what a touchy spaceman. Ok, ok, I'm outta here!'

Sometimes people can be such an irresponsible bunch of idiots. I went grocery shopping yesterday. As always, Mrs. Spiff and me would always browse through all the aisles just to see if there are new stuff out on display or if there are promotions going on.

And we noticed one very glaring thing in the aisles. Quite a lot of the products there were vandalized. Most of them, especially the toy sections had their packaging torn. The buttons of most toys were broken. Some of the toys were not even working.

And as we walked around, we saw things like these in almost every aisle. There was always some product opened and not put back properly. Some were damaged by itchy fingered people who just had to mess around with them, break them and just leave them quietly on the shelves.

There was this particular product that I wanted to buy and almost all of the stock they had on the shelves were in some way damaged and I ended up not being able to buy them. Just because it doesn't belong to them and the fact that they don't want to buy it, does it make it right for them to mess around with it to the point of damaging it?

People just cannot keep their hands to themselves when they shop and some of them just let their children play with everything in sight without supervision. I've seen kids just roughly taking out products from their packaging to the point of damaging the item and just playing with it like as if it belongs to them. And the parents don't give two hoots about it.

I'm not saying I don't touch stuff and open packages but I at least do it carefully and if it's sealed I get a sales person to help me open it. And I'm perpetually telling my kids not to touch this, open that or play with stuff cos it doesn't belong to them. Kids are naturally curious and I don't blame them if they want to play with everything they see. But when the parents don't care, that's what irks me!

How do they expect people to buy stuff when it's already damaged. Take a look at this pair of socks below that I wanted to buy. Almost all of them were ripped open. What's their logic and purpose I don't know, maybe they wanted to see if it fits. But do you think anyone would buy these socks now? I wonder how much losses the hypermarkets incur because of imbeciles like these!

Last night Mrs. Spiff and me were talking about old times. Back to the days when we were first dating all those years ago. Yes, spacemen also go dating once in awhile you know. We don't always go around the galaxy conquering far distant planets. And during out conversation, which often times had us laughing away at how corny we were when we were dating, she mentioned my first ever steady girlfriend was pretty ugly and whether I found her online or something ... hahaha ...

She said maybe I didn't really see her face before actually going out with her ... hahaha ... that Mrs. Spiff can be such a funny girl at times. And I told her back in those days, there were no such things as online dating sites! It was an unheard of thing then. We had to do things, even find dates the hard way. And honey, for your information, yes, I did see her before going out with her. To me, a teenager in love back then, she didn't really look that awful ... LOL!

Teenagers (and even adults) these days have it easy when it comes to dating. No need to go through the old fashioned way of wooing a girl or even finding a date. All they need these days is a computer and an internet connection and you're all set for your date. There are so many dating services out there to choose from that you can get to know the person you intend to go out thoroughly before meeting them for the first time.

Take for instance this site called ZoomOnDating.com, a dating site that guides you towards the dazzling world of internet dating where you get to meet millions of single (and oftentimes lonely) hearts around the planet. ZoomOnDating.com has compiled a list of the most popular match making services that includes the likes of single dating services, free love websites, ethnic and religious singles services and if you're a little more adventurous, there's also the adult matching services for you to delve into.

If you're still single and on the look out (or maybe you're a dirty little weasel out to find a fling ... LOL!), check it out and see if you can find the right matchmaking site through their user-friendly menu. There's also loads of dating tips just in case you need some :D Go ahead, explore the opportunities on ZoomOnDating.com and find your love or soul mate that will halve your joys and sorrow right now!

Now, we've all heard the many reasons why we should go about saving this planet of ours. But I think this really is the BEST reason why we should all do our part to save this Earth we live in :D

436 Words : Posted 12.15.08

Yesterday Mrs. Spiff, me and the boys went out shopping at a mall near our place called Subang Parade. The younger boy has been constantly reminding us that we haven't got him his Christmas present yet. And his incessant reminders were driving us up the wall.

We decided to go to Subang Parade cos that was the nearest place that had a Toys 'R' Us outlet. Besides, the gift that he wants can only be found there. He has some pretty expensive tastes, that boy. We spent nearly an hour trying to get him his gift cos we couldn't find what he wanted. I did find some cool looking talking watches which I wanted to get for myself but Mrs. Spiff was having none of that! LOL!

After nearly an hour or more in there, we finally managed to find something for him. By that time we were all pretty hungry, even though the boys had a late second breakfast at McDonalds. So we headed for this shop called King Pies cos Mrs. Spiff wanted some light snacks and it looked like the best place for light snacks.

That's when I realised that the boys don't really like eating pies and they swiped my fries and I ended up stuffing myself silly with three whole pies that by the time I finished eating all three of I felt like puking it all back out. They were just too rich but I just couldn't let 2 good pies go to waste. I swear I never want to eat pies again for at least 2 months! LOL! I was so bloated, I felt like taking nap right there and then.

And speaking of taking a nap, there was this guy just a few tables away from us who had only just finished eating his food. All of a sudden we heard this huge roar coming from his direction and upon turning to check it out, there he was nicely snoozing away and snoring so loud that it would probably wake the dead!

He was snoring so loud that everyone walking by had a good laugh and he didn't wake up even when we left the place after about 40 minutes or so and went for more shopping and just before we left, we passed the place again and there he was still sleeping (and snoring) happily away. I wanted to take a picture but then thought better of it. He might just be reading this blog and he happened to be a really huge and big fellow. I value my life ... LOL!

Oh boy, it's been a whole week since I last posted anything here. And there is an absolutely good reason for that. Last Sunday, just as I was about have dinner, a bunch of good for nothing Zorkian bugs ambushed me and held me captive for a whole week until my heroic escape this morning. LOL!

The truth of the matter is I was pretty tied up settling into my new job and that left me with no time to look into all three (yes, yes, I have three) blogs. I only managed to keep my personal blog updated and since I have a little time today I thought I'd write a couple of lines so you guys know I'm still alive ... hehehe ...

The week was a pretty good one and I settled in to my new job quite well. You guys can read about it in my other blog Anything Goes! I'm just too lazy to repeat it over here. All I can say is I've had enough coffee to last me three lifetimes.

I'm actually a little under the weather right now. Battling a bout of cough, flu and fever. They always come in a group of three. And it's just beginning so I guess I'll be battling with it all week ... Siggghhh ... I'm too lazy to go see a doctor and have been just popping a couple of Panadols all day. So far, it seems to be keeping the fever in check.

Christmas is just around the corner so I'm hoping to get well before it arrives. I still have quite a bit of Christmas shopping to do and I don't really want to keep it to the last minute. That's all from me for now. I need to go lie down for a bit. Feeling a little woozy at the moment ...

The days moves so fast when you're on holiday and having fun. It seemed like it was only yesterday that I started my short holiday and now it's already Sunday! On Tuesday I will be starting my new job. Tomorrow is a public holiday over here.

How time flies. I must say I've been enjoying the short break to the max. Me and the family have been out shopping quite a bit and our legs are killing us from all the walking we've been doing :D Well, I still have 2 days of holiday left so I'm going to enjoy it to the max!

I had a night out last night with my two best buddies. It's been ages since I last saw them since we're all busy with our work and family lives. It was great sitting and catching on old times. And both their kids have grown up so much too. Makes me feel all that much older.

Anyways, here's wishing you guys a great Sunday today. I'm going to take my shower and get ready to go for more shopping today cos I need a new table lamp for my room. The one that I have now fell and broke and without a table lamp, it's kinda hard to read in bed these days.

Here's a little warning to perverts out there who tries to force themselves on women!

Chicago, Ill., police went hunting for a rape suspect after a woman stopped by their headquarters and turned in some evidence of the crime: a pair of testicles. The 42-year-old woman told them that a man forced her to perform oral sex on him, so she bit off some evidence.

Officers found a castrated man at a local hospital and 'put two and two together,' a police spokesman said. Eric Williams, 21, was arrested on charges of aggravated criminal sexual assault. Doctors could not reattach the severed parts.

Oh boy, I'll bet that must have hurt quite a bit! Imagine having to explain to the doctors at the hospital just how he lost his family jewels. Serves the bum right!

411 Words : Posted 12.04.08

I'm really looking forward to the coming couple of days that I'm going to be on holiday. It's really been a while since I last had a holiday and I'm going to maximize it doing stuff that I haven't done in ages. And that is sitting back with a hot mug of coffee and a good book.

But there is one thing wrong with that scenario. Though I may have loads of books in my little mini library, I've read each and every one of those books at least a million times. I can recite every word in those books by heart! And though I wouldn't mind re-reading them again, it does get pretty boring after a while.

And another thing about reading books these days is that my eyesight is getting worse and me being a conceited spaceman refuses to wear glasses. Have you ever heard of a spaceman with glasses? No, right? So, sometimes it's a strain just trying to read those small fonts that they use in those books.

So, with that in mind, just how am I going to sit back with that hot mug of coffee and read without straining myself too much. Well, after some thought, an ingenious (what else ... LOL) idea came to mind. Why not download audio books and just listen to them. I know my hearing is still good so that would be a novel way to 'read' these days :D

So I did me some looking around and came across this pretty cool site called www.music-clubs.com that has a host of audio books titles for me to choose from ranging from fiction (my favourite kind), non-fiction, books for kids and young adults and even on religion and spirituality. And if you subscribe to them, you can download any of them books at a affordable price of US7.49, which is considered cheap to have someone read a book to you ... hehehe ...

I'm actually going to subscribe to them and I have my eye fixed on Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. I may have already read this book but it would be cool to have it 'read' to me :D I really think this is the way to go with books these days. I could probably put on a pair of headphones and actually 'read' while I do my evening runs! Now that would be cool indeed for a spaceman :D

We all love toys, well, not really all of us. Spacemen like me are too macho to even own a toys ... LOL! But then the general population do love toys.

I was browsing the web randomly today to waste a little time. Yes, sometimes it can be boring when you're on your holiday. Here are some toys that you shouldn't get for your kids or even yourself. Well, unless it's for someone you really hate la ... LOL!

173 Words : Posted 12.03.08

I'm officially jobless today. Well, at least until next week when I start my new job. I feel so relieved that I'm finally out of my ex company. While I enjoyed my time working there, it grew into a chore. I'm looking forward to the new job and hope something much better comes out of it. After all, I don't think I want to be traveling the universe and conquering strange worlds all my life ... LOL!

I don't know what I have planned today but I know I'm going to take advantage of the short break I have by doing something. Mrs. Spiff wants to go do some Christmas shopping and I wanna check out the Christmas decor at some of the malls around so I guess we'll be mall hopping today :D

But I know I'm probably going to need a pain pump to control the pain in my aching legs from all the walking I anticipate we're going to be doing today ... hehehe ...

I have a problem with Social Spark! Well, not really Social Spark itself but with the way assignments are given out. I’ve been with Social Spark (let’s just call them SS for short) for quite a while now, ever since the day they first launched their service.

And to be fair, I enjoyed doing work for them. I was happy with what they had to offer and I was happy with the way they offered it. True, I had to book assignments and then wait in queue to see if they would be given to me or not. More often than not, I would get the chance to do them.

Now, when I’m given an assignment, I don’t just simply do them. I try to relate that particular assignment to a real part of my life. After all it’s only fair to the advertiser since they’re paying me to do it. I don’t give them shoddy work and I made a little money from them.

But now, in fact the past couple of months, ever since they revamped their site with certain new features and updates, the assignments I get have practically dried up. Now, I have no issues with that cos the advertiser is not obligated to give me assignments just cos I booked them.

And on the very few occasions that I do get a reservation reserved email telling me that I have successfully obtain a reservation and that I have 12 hours to do it, I am of course ecstatic. But imagine to my utter disappointment, when I log into the assignment details, though the assignment is there for me to do, I cannot select a blog to do it on.

So, what do I do? I send a ticket to customer love and yes, they do reply but what I’m not satisfied is the reply given. Here, read are some of the things they had to say:

First, this may an issue with the way the Opp. is segmented. Basically what happens is that while you met the segmentation requirements of the Opp. when you queued for a reservation, you were right on the edge of being eligible.

By the time that you were ready to submit your post, enough blogs that more closely met the requirements had been added to the system so that your blog was no longer eligible and therefore not able to submit your post.

It can also be a simple reporting issue. When the system resets every midnight, it updates stats and rankings which in turn updates Opp. eligibility and availability. So, if there is ever a glitch in the script or your site is temporarily unavailable when the script runs, this will affect your Opps. for the next 24 hours.

Please remember that the system checks that you meet all the requirements when you add yourself to queue for a reservation, but the queue does NOT check whether or not you are still eligible, if you have already posted for the advertiser or if you can still post for the day when it sends out reservations. It only "knows" that there is a slot open and you are next in line.

I find that a little too bitter to swallow. I can understand if my blog doesn’t meet the qualifications. I can understand if I queue and don’t get the assignment but what irks me is that when I actually get the assignment, apparently I’m on the brink of qualification or there was an update from the time I got the reservation and the time I actually did the assignment which was still within the stipulated 12 hours.

If that is the case why even bother giving me 12 hours and even telling me not to forget to wash behind my ears even and then say that I don’t qualify cos after their internal update, my blog requirements don’t meet they approval. Come on you guys at SS, that’s not something I can buy.

Shouldn’t it be that once I am given the reservation (I stress the word ‘given’ here), whether my blog qualifies (which I think it does) or not within the stipulated 12 hours, I SHOULD be allowed to do the assignment. That’s what the 12 hour period is for, I presume. To give us bloggers a chance to look at the assignment and come up with a worthy enough post for the said assignment.

Imagine this scenario, what if I wrote the post but then, just as I am about to submit, I can’t select my blog cos within that 12 hour period there was an update at SS and I suddenly didn’t qualify anymore or maybe I was on the brink of qualification again. It can be quite disappointing when that happens. And it’s happened to me quite a lot.

As it is, I don’t really get all that many assignments from SS these days so whatever I do get, I jump at the chance to do them and when this happens, well, it sucks. Isn’t there some way you guys at SS can make this right? Take for instance your sister site, Pay Per Post. If you reserve an assignment there, as long as you do it within the stipulated 6 hours, the assignment is yours for the taking. There is no such thing as not being qualified once you reserve the assignment.

Why can’t SS work along those lines? Let me be frank. I like doing work for Social Spark. Especially so when you guys first launched. Things were so much simpler then. Look for assignment, book assignment and if you’re lucky, the assignment will be given to you and as long as I post it within the 12 hour time frame, all is fine.

I hope you guys don’t deactivate my account just cos I wrote a post here complaining about your system. But I cannot stop you if you want to do that anyway. Just consider this constructive criticism from one of your members who enjoy doing work for you. I thought you guys were really cool when you first launched but now, I’m not so sure.

While I do appreciate your replies to my ticket complaining about this, I just cannot buy all the reasons given and hope that my complain here does merit a little further looking into the way your system checks a bloggers qualifications before assigning an assignment to them so that once given, the said assignment should be able to be completed as long as it falls within the stipulated 12 hour time frame.

With that said and done, I hope things will improve for the better soon.

Most of you guys who visit here know how often I've boasted of being a macho, quirky and not forgetting handsome (*ahem*) spaceman right. And it's entirely true ... hahahaha ... ok, ok, maybe not the macho and handsome part. More like irritating and annoying spaceman! LOL!

Well, you can't blame us spaceman, we travel far and wide around the universe with our super duper high tech ray guns and 5.11 Tactical Knives looking for places to conquer and reign supreme that we tend to tell tall space stories once in awhile ... hehehe ...

You know how boring it can be out these in space all by yourself that half the time I think up of incredibly far fetched stories to tell when I get home from my space explorations. Not that anyone believes even a fraction of them though. Certainly not Mrs. Spiff, she can read me like an open book!

Ok, ok, I know I'm talking rubbish. But I have this project where I'm supposed to atleast write a minimum of 300 words and it's not easy trying to figure out what to write when you're just so darn lazy to do anything on the first day of the work week. Especially when you've had a nice wonderful weekend where you did just about nothing at all but stay in watch TV and practically lazed around all weekend.

That laziness spillover effect is still with that I'm not properly warmed up to face the week yet. Mondays for me are always like that. It takes at least the entire day and maybe a little of Tuesday to get into the groove for work. By Wednesday, I'll be fired up for work, then by Thursday I'll be looking forward to the weekend and when Friday comes, I'll be too lazy to work again ... it's an endless cycle.

Will you look at that. I've actually managed to fill in my 300 word quota, so I'm out of here ... LOL! Have a great week ahead guys :D

Those of you who know me and my diehard loyalty to Arsenal would also know how much I hate certain teams. I also don't normally post much football (that's soccer to you Americans ... hehehe ...) news here cos most of my readers (what little I have) are not really football fans.

But when your favourite team beat the team you hate the most, then sometimes there is an exception to that rule. Yes, my favourite footy team, Arsenal actually managed to beat Chelsea (which surprised me with the way they've been playing of late) and I'm totally thrilled by that fact.

Prior to Chelsea, I have always despised Manchester United (I know I'm going to get some flak from you MU fans but so be it) but of late, well for quite a while now, I've totally despised Chelsea more that MU that when MU plays with Chelsea I would support MU all the way. Blasphemy I know but the saying the enemy of my enemy is my friend sure rings true over here ... LOL!

I used to have no beef with Chelsea until they started being cocky, then again, all big teams are cocky but Chelsea were just arrogant and cocky at the same time. And I'm so glad that Arsenal beat them last night cos I know a few idiotic Chelsea fans which I will be calling up to gloat about later today ... hahaha ...

Oh, what a happy Monday this is for once :D

You know, with Christmas just around the corner and loads of presents to buy, I'm finding ways to make some extra money. Well, I could always look out for assignments but hey, with a PR that has a big fat zero in it, assignments are really hard to come by.

So, what does a slight lunatic spaceman with no PR does to earn extra cash? Why he opens up a new blog of course! LOL! Yes, I do have a new blog that is dedicated to my new business venture. Well, it's not really new. It's been lying idle for months cos I was too busy to work on it. Those of you who have been reading that moronic Nick's blog would know that I did mention I was going into a small party theming business.

The idea came about when my cousin asked me to help her decorate for her son's birthday party and I decided to take it one step further and see if I could make a small business out of it. It was Mrs. Spiffs suggestion anyway. Well, the party was a success and I did get an order from someone who wants a backdrop done for a wedding next month.

Anyway, the blog is called Dream Themes and if you're looking for some party ideas, party themes, props, backdrops, home made party decorations, party invitations, business cards, letterheads, newsletter or even designing a simple blog header or avatar then do drop me a line at Dream Themes :D

It doesn't matter if you're not even from this country. I could always design, make and produce all the props and decor and send it to you with my rocket ship, urmmm, I mean courier company ... hehehe ... I don't know if I'll ever get any business just yet but I suppose I need to start somewhere. And with that done, it's time to go figure out just what a 15 month 0% APR balance transfer is ... hehehe ...

You know, this country has no creativity at times. Take a look around you. Look at the buildings and homes we have here. So boring. Nothing exceptional stands out.

That's why when I saw these pictures of some weird buildings, I thought they were so cool. And they had loads and loads of character attached to them. Maybe one day when I become a billionaire (LMAO!) I'll build myself a unique house or something that exudes loads and loads of attitude :D

Oh and I can't really remember where I got this pictures from so credit for the pictures goes to you if these pictures belong to you. There, don't say I didn't give you credit :D

Forest Spiral - Hundertwasser Building (Darmstadt, Germany)

Kansas City Public Library (Missouri, United States)

The Basket Building (Ohio, United States)

Pickle Barrel House (Grand Marais, Michigan, United States)

Wonderworks (Pigeon Forge, TN, United States)

The Crooked House (Sopot, Poland)
