"stuffs vegetables with meatballs". The famous eatery was crowded, as expected. Luckily we got the seats. Ames complimented the food. I was happy to know that. Both of us were very full. We spent the night at Wing's Cafe Equine Park. Less crowded but sometimes can be too empty, lacked the 'happening' feel. Suggested we give the Kuchai Lama branch a try, next time.
Happy New Year 2009 everyone! The Year 2008 seems to pass very quickly. There has been some ups and downs in 2008 but overall 2008 was OK. The biggest achievement was meeting many new faces in my life.

Thanks to Edmund for still around with me despite the tragic afternoon on 8th March 2008. Appreciate a lot of our times at Ipoh/Kampar/Sitiawan/KL. Those wonderful moments I won't forget and looking forward to our friendship. Thanks to Ryan for all the wonderful eating trips all over KL and being with with me on our HongKong/Macau trip. It was one of the highlight of the year. Thanks to Ames for making me laugh, the constant sms chat and all the fun we had together!! Looking forward to our blooming friendship and more. Thank you Vincent for meeting up in Hong Kong after so many years.

Thanks to Alves, Alvin, TeeWee, Jiri, Deric (aka eggtart), Mikey, John, Edward (aka Fansu) for being with me during my good and bad times. I really enjoyed all the outings at Wing's Cafe, Island Cafe, mamak outings and all the online channel chats. Especially to Alves, Maxxi and Deric for being such a wonderful close friend and all the moral support!! Thanks to Casper for the recent movie outings, for being my confidante and the snow ice at 100Yen. It was marvellous! Not forgetting my IRC mates, Cymon, Kenny, Wyatt, Donnie, Nic and many more.

From knowing William, I got to know William's blogging family members too and some became close to me such as Cheryl and David. From the core members, I got the chance to meet the other of his blogging family members face to face, such as KH, Chester, KaiTing, Jeremy, Alex, Jin, Leonardo, Jason and many more. Besides that, I had the honours to meet other independent bloggers such as BengBeng, TZ and Bong. Thanks to blogger/writer Quachee for the complimentary book "50 1 Malaysia". Thanks Joe for the annual visit to KL during your medical studies semester break and became a close part of William's blogging family members.

Not forgetting my highschool friends who are still have me in their heart despite the irregular contacts and the constant postings in our highschool mailing list. Especially to Piggy, Froggy and Mdm Wong! You guys know who you are! Thanks to Caren and Damien for the contacts/messages eventhough we seldom meet up these days. Not forgetting my colleagues (I know one of them is reading my blog) for the wonderful support in our work.

And lastly but not least, my family members for their unconditional love. I won't be here, so strong without you all, especially my youngest bro!

Thank God for everything!

And I hope I didn't miss out anyone. I was typing this post in a haste.
Definitely a great day out with those lovely bunch.
Happy Boxing Day everyone!! I just got back supper with my ex. Nothing spectacular. We had some drinks and chat about our life. Mostly my ex did the talking, about my ex's housemates, clubbing activities, shopping spree, work, current relationship and things like that. I did do some talking once awhile but mostly listening to my ex's stories. For this year Christmas, my ex bought me a colorful branded expensive gift. I was quite surprised but at the same time feel appreciated. A set of towel accessories from Esprit. The set consist of 3 towels. A bath-towel, a hand-towel and a wash-towel.

I bought for my ex, a furry white teddy bear, wearing a scarf around its neck from the AEIOU Studio. I particularly like products of AEIOU Studio. Their products are hard to find (that makes it unique), and their wrapping papers have very nice graphics too. Luckily for my ex, the AEIOU Studio was having a stall at Sunway Pyramid when I was there to meet up blogger BengBeng, TZ and Bong. And the wrapper-guy had such a good wrapping skills. I stood there for about 15mins watching him turning a wrapping paper into a nice gift bag.

Thanks again for the lovely gift. I was wearing a Smile when I was driving back from my ex place back to my home. The words came back to me, during our conversation, on Valentine's Day 2 years ago. That, we can still be friends if our relationship do not succeed. And after the break-up, we are still friends on this Boxing Day!

Merry Christmas everyone!! I just got back from JayaOne, PJ, dinner with Alves, Alvin, Deric, Mikey, TeeVee and John at BBQ Chicken. I ordered my usual favourite dish, the Korean Charboiled. Succulent, tender chicken thighs meat grilled to perfection. Side dish of coleslaw and fries. It was really generous of Alvin to get everyone of us a cute little Christmas gift. Thanks a lot Alvin!! I had my little bear with a scarf. It was really adorable! We had our drinks and chat at Starbucks later on. We left around mid night. Simple and nice. Casual and lovely.

Lil'bear under the spot light; In the gift bag; On my lap; With this friends.
There was home appliances fair in Sunway Pyramid and out of curiosity, I went to check out the items and prices. The main reason was to check if I bought my Sharp Aquos LCD at higher or lower price. Much to my relief (or is it 'relieve'?), the fair was selling it at a higher price. And I'm having the best deal from Jusco!! Muahahahaha.

Actually, the real intention I was at Sunway Pyramid on the eve of Christmas Eve was for the bloggers meet. It was my first time meeting the bloggers TZ, BengBeng and Bong. While Bong was stuck in the traffic jam, 3 of us were exploring the dinner place. From Japanese to Korean and in the end, it was at Esquire Kitchen having Chinese food. Bong arrived later and we had a good chat over the dinner meals.

After the dinner, 4 of us purposely go find blogger Chester at this workplace, dropped him a brief casual chat. It was amazing Chester can immediate recognize TZ. TZ got this trademark look eh? LOL. And we ended the evening at Starbucks before called it a day.

Thanks for the meal TZ! It'll be my treat next time around. BengBeng, hope you have an enjoyable vacation at the Peninsular states. And Nice meeting you, Bong.
Some people say it's very hard to find a virgin anymore.
While the Sultan of Selangor was celebrating his birthday in his palace and give your honorable titles to deserving citizens, Deric (nicknamed eggtart), Casper and I were loitering at Sunway Pyramid.

Searching for car parks at Pyramid was disastrous during public holidays. We finally found some parking bays at the basement car park of Sunway Resort Hotel. After checking out the LCD price at Harvey Norman, we will kinda aimless on what to do next. We tried searching for Chester's working place to meet up him, but I think we got lost in the way. Hahahaha. After much deliberating on the lunch, we finally sat down at Papa Rich at around 4pm . My first time there. Typical of Uncle Lim Cafe and such.

We continue to wander around Pyramid like aimless ghost, alternating between the old wing and the new wing. We finally found Chester's outlet and had a brief chat with him. After that, we tried our luck to get tickets for The Day The Earth Stood Still but to no availability.

After much further wandering, we sat down at Gasoline and our legs rested well. It was my first time in there. I've been to Gasoline Sri Kembangan and Gasoline Times Square. It was really tired of walking and walking without knowing what to do next. We decided to leave Pyramid to Asia Cafe to have our late dinner and head home.

Productive day? Perhaps. I think it's better than staying at home and complain being boring. And importantly, thanks to Deric and Casper for the company.

Pics below were taken at Gasoline Pyramid.

Right after I've checked out the price of Sharp Aquos LCD model LC32A53M and LC32D30M-B at Jusco and senQ, Alves and John was free to accompany me for dinner. Jusco is having 10% discount for LC32A53M and 5% discount for LC32D30M-B. For installments, Jusco has no processing fee for my Citibank card installments and comes with free delivery to my home. While senQ has processing fee for installments and only has RM100 discount for both models. And a free DVD player for LC32D30M-B. After all the calculations, Jusco still has the best deal. Yes Ames, you are right and I'm still listening to your advice on this, kekeke ;)

It has been a long but really fun-tastic day. It's going to be a long post so just bear with me there. I haven't been blogging for the past one week so this entry going to be a bit long.

Now I shall spend some quality time doing my reading during the coming Christmas and New Year break.
Oh well.... anyway, gonna be trapped in the heat.

A lot of people asked how did it fare, the movie "Quarantine" compared to "Cloverfield". And I will tell them that...

"Cloverfield" was much better than "The Blair Witch Project" and "Quarantine". The suspense element started after the movie started not long after with multiple explosions at downtown Manhattan. Then curiosity got me glued to the sit to find out what the heck was it all about. All the elements in "Cloverfield" was in a big scale. That gave a sense of 'awe' to the audience. The bombing of Brooklyn Bridge, the subway attack, the 'King-Kong' monster attack. The people behaviour is mass scale. And et cetera.

When it comes to "Quarantine", it was just a mutated disease gone wild within the occupants of an apartment. And the suspense was not that good. I felt like playing Resident Evil. Opening the doors, expecting zombies or mad dogs attacking you (minus the crows). Though the 2 movies were acted by Grade-B actors/actress but "Quarantine" was less convincing. In "Quarantine", the video-cam was less shaky and it has lost the realistic effect. Perhaps one was shot by a tv crew and the other was by some university dude. In "Quarantine", the interesting part only came in towards the end of the movie at the attic and the movie was shot in night mode.

If you have some spare time to play around with dizziness and nausea. Recommended to watch "Quarantine" but not the story line. Casper and I certainly lost our dinner appetite after the movie. Felt as though I had a wild ride at a theme park with him.
This book reminded me of the Batman movie scene, where passengers of the 2 ferries will decide the fate of the other ferry. By detonating the bomb that will ensure the survival of their own ferry. A similar social experiment by The Joker.
The pink piggy is a product of FourSkinStore. Sounds so much like foreskin. I think they did it brand it intentionally thay way. Heard it's a popular store in SG. I have not heard so much about it at MY. But I think I bumped into a FourSkin outlet before somewhere. Can't really recall it. I think it was selling clothes. Or is it home deco. Can't really remember.
I was relieved having the chance to watch this movie after a tense day at work. It really made laugh!! I enjoyed the first one. And enjoyed this sequel too!! Though Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria are the main characters but their side-kicks made me laugh the most. My favourite characters are still the penguins. I'm glad for this sequel, the penguins have gotten more screen time. Much more of their Italian 'godfather' style. Really cracks me up. Next was King Julian with all his funny moments. Especially the one with Melman and at the volcano. "Hope the god loves seafood". HAHAHAHA. Last, but not the least, are the higher primates, the chimpanzees. Their British style and their intelligence are really cool! And Nana is one heck of an old lady!

But the story line could be a little bit better. A little bit like the Lion King story. Little lion cubs goes through all the jungle politics to be the alpha king and acceptance from the other animals. Perhaps Dreamworks could come out with something more creative on the storytelling part.

Overall, it was definitely a good laugh.
Should I buy books written by Jodi Picoult too? Any recommendations?
Sigh!
Last Fri night, Alves, Mikey, John, Joe and myself went to Jusco Bukit Tinggi to meet up Deric. All the way to Klang, I was enjoying myself with all the antics and jokes from John and Alves. It has been a long time since I enjoyed myself in a group outing. Luckily I know the Kesas highway to Bukit Tinggi, learnt it when I picked up David off work last time. When we got to Jusco Bukit Tinggi, we changed to a bigger car, drove by Deric to Teluk Gong. I enjoyed the Stephanie Sun songs in car; while the rest of them made funny conversation in the car.

The Coconut Flower Restaurant was really full of people. Anf we finally got a table under a hut. Ordered a lot of food to eat. Cam-whore a lot, before, during and even after eating!! Overall, the food was OK. The lady-boss of the place was so eager to help us to take a group pic. And we simply obliged.

After the seafood dinner, no one has any idea on what to do next. I guess everyone was counting on Deric to suggest a place to do something. We ended up at Station One. Had an hour of chat and we left the place.

It was outrageously ridiculous for the petrol station to run out of petrol. Imagine the petrol indicator is blinking and what a relief to find a gas station. When things started to turn pretty, it decided to run out of petrol. It's like having the most wonderful orgasm on bed, nearing to cum and suddenly the mobile phone rang. Or a knock on the door. Or... or... go figure.

Ok... enough of ranting, let's go the main story below.

Got this song from my close friend, Alves. Inspirational, encouraging, supportive and touching lyrics. As Alves understands me as being a sentimental person, he guess I should like it. And I totally do! Perhaps it's best heard when one being emotional. I know Cancerians can be a sucker for that. The song is easy to sing, cos of the slow music arrangement and the tune is easy going.

Dedicate this to everyone out there who needs a break from everything. Specially dedicated to Ames *hugs*. And also to Nic, Cheryl and Alves again for this wonderful song introduction.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

My Love Will Get You Home - Christine Glass

If you wander off too far, my love will get you home.
If you follow the wrong star, my love will get you home.
If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me, my love will get you home.
Boy, my love will get you home.

If the bright lights blinds your eyes, my love will get you home.
If your troubles break your stride, my love will get you home.
If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me, my love will get you home.
Boy, my love will get you home.

If you ever feel ashamed, my love will get you home.
When there's only you to blame, my love will get you home.
If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me, my love will get you home.
Boy, my love will get you home.

If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me, my love will get you home.
Boy, my love will get you home,
Boy, my love will get you home.
