What is a pyramid? It comes from the Greek word “pyramis” which means “wheat cake”. The National Museum of the Philippines declared the Las Pinas Bamboo Organ as The National Cultural Treasure being the finest and the only one in the 19th century that is still working in the Philippines.<br /><br />Many Filipinos are musicians and play different instruments, but this Bamboo Organ is a world class organ contributed by Fr. Diego Cera . Most Filipino musicians would love to play the organ because it produces a live sound that makes the people sing lively with it.<br /><br />Fr. Diego Cera is not only the builder of the organ but also the builder of the church where the bamboo organ was placed. He is a native of Spain and served as a priest in so many years. Historians known him as a gifted man because of many talents.<br /><br />It took him years to build this bamboo organ instrument. He started from 1816 and finished in 1824. In 1880, there was a strong typhoon and an earthquake that lead to the destruction of the instrument.<br /><br />After the calamity, nobody had ever played the instrument again until Johannes Klais Orgalbau in 1973 came and brought it to Germany to fix. It took him two years to finish the restoration which includes the tuning, cleaning.and other materials that was damaged.<br /><br />Finally, in 1975, the bamboo organ was brought back to its original place. As parents, we should learn the effective way to discipline our children. But first, we must know what is right and what is wrong.<br /><br />Disciplining your children is more on teaching. As I sit on the bench with crossed legs, holding a mug of hot chocolate and wearing my favorite pink floral dress waving as air come and go, I try to unwind myself and look back to reminisce good things happened in the past. I feel relax and stress-out.<br /><br />I stand and walk to the small garden where I am longing to touch colorful flowers that bloom every single day. I look back and saw the biggest plant in my garden trying to crawl some of my flowers and ruin them with the big stem. I am thinking to remove the big plant in my garden, but I really treasure it because that is the first plant in my garden. I cut some stems. Even though some stems are cut, still I can't stop it from crawling as days passes by.<br /><br />How can I remove it? I really treasure it, but I love my flowers more than my big plant. What I did is, everytime the plant gets bigger, I cut the stems. I am tired of doing that all the time. I am thinking maybe someday, when my flowers gets older, I presume that those that affect the flowers because of the crawling stems might not bloom that nice in which I wanted it to be.<br /><br />At last, I had my big plant cut and plant it again to the other side of my garden far away from my flowers. It is now a small plant, but I know it will grow again and crawl again. At least, I found a way to make the flowers bloom fast and nice.<br /><br />The happy side of it is, I love my garden so much.
