MacBook Wheel revealed by the Onion News Network - Engadget
God, I love the Onion. There's a lot of work that goes into something like this. Takes dedication.
On November 11th, Microsoft is releasing the New XBOX Experience (NXE). This is a software overhaul of the current XBOX 360 OS that is supposed to change the way you interface with your console.
One of the features allows you to install your games to the XBOX hard drive. You will still have to have your game disc in the drive to play, but it will only spin up when you start the game to verify that you own it. From then on it's all hard drive.
This seems like it will do two things, reduce wear on your optical drive, and speed up load times. Reducing the wear on your optical drive doesn't need much testing, but will it really speed up load times? Check the link below.

I decided I'm going to try to build an XBOX 360 game. Something not too ambitious for my first time out. I have an idea, but I don't want to give it away. It's a card game. I'll spill that much.

I haven't seen anything that made me laugh like this in a long time. Ignore the starting image, most of it is faceplants, not boobs.
Went to see Iron Man on Saturday. The whole family went and it was a good fun time. My almost 4 year old daughter loved it. I thought Robert Downey Jr. did a fantastic job as Tony Stark. I even liked Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts and I usually hate her. I can't wait for the inevitable sequel.
I mentioned that the whole family went. My 14 year old daughter was just ho hum about it, my wife thought it was better than she expected, and my little one was running around the mall when we were done doing Iron Man poses and yelling, "I'm a superhero!".
If you haven't seen it yet, I won't spoil it for you, but make sure you stay after the credits. :)
