Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is click fraud?

Fraudulent clicks can occur when publishers knowingly or unknowingly use bots or click farms to inflate the number of clicks the ads they're hosting receive. Other forms of low-quality traffic include unqualified clickers and visitors with no intent to convert.

Q: How do you deal with click fraud?

We eliminate it before it happens. All clicks are independently monitored and audited by ClickForensics before they are charged against an advertisers account. ClickForensics provides SocialSpark with clean, high-quality, audited third party click data.

Q: Where does most click fraud come from?

The majority of click fraud occurs outside of the United States. Below is a map that illustrates threat based on geographic click origin.

Q: How are bloggers approved?

ZEA reviews each blog submitted to our system and screens out a variety of characteristics including pornography, explicit language and otherwise undesirable content. Those blogs that are accepted into our marketplace are “Verified” and able to take Opportunities, so long as they meet the specific criteria set for by the advertiser.

Each individual campaign has it’s own “Opportunity Profile”. This is a unique page that shows bloggers the specific terms of your campaign including offer amount,, ad units and any other information you wish to convey.

That depends on how fast your clicks occur. Each time your account reaches a threshold of $50 you will be brought back to the original amount you deposited. Your credit card will be charged and you will receive notification via email.

If you cancel your Opportunity (or it automatically expires) at any time your links and ad units will become inactive. Bloggers will be instructed that your Opportunity has ended via email.
