We released some exciting changes this morning. We added extra support for product sampling campaigns and we also fixed a few bugs.
The bugs that were fixed:
- Insecure content warnings on the cashout page
- Points balance not automatically updating in the header section of the advertiser account page after making offers (previously you had to refresh the page, now it will update instantly)
- Now allow editing of blog URL before it is reviewed so you can fix your typos
- Now automatically deauthorize google analytics after a blog URL is edited
The new product sampling changes:

Bloggers: You can expect to see some new product sampling opportunities coming soon. There will be at least one opportunity for pet owners coming up this month and even more to come after. These are currently only available to bloggers who live in the continental United States.
All product sampling opportunities will be presented under the leads section.
When you respond interested to a product sampling opportunity we will ask you to verify your shipping address. We don’t want to ship your samples to the wrong place.
Most product sampling opportunities only offer one product. But if there are sampling options you will see a page that asks you to select which product(s) you would like to sample.
If you are selected for the sampling campaign you will get an offer after responding to the lead. Typically more time is allowed for submitting your post to these types of offers so that there is time to ship the products to you. The account management team will be in direct contact with you if you get an offer. You will receive any extra information from them via email and you should get reminders to submit your post before the deadline. Advertisers can request to move the deadline so it is vital that you keep your email information up-to-date in your SocialSpark account and check your email regularly.
